1. Open your email account. This could be Gmail, Yahoo mail, or any other email service provider. Note that you need to use the same email address you used during account registration.
2. Compose a new email by clicking on the Compose button.
3. At the To field enter the email address of the Carousell support team which is support@carousell.com which is in charge of deleting or closing your account.
4. In the Subject field, enter “Account Removal Request” or something related to this.
5. Now, in the message field, enter the reason why you want your account to be removed from their database and include your account details and anything that proves that the account belongs to you.
6. Finally, click on the send button.

How to Delete Carousell Account on the Mobile App

If you are using the mobile app of Carousell, then follow the steps below to delete your account on their mobile app.

1. Open the Carousell app on your smartphone.
2. Login to your account if you haven’t done that already.
3. On the app’s home screen, tap on the ME button which can be found at the bottom of the page.
4. Then tap on Settings.
5. On the Settings page, look for Email Support/Feedback and tap on it. This is located at the bottom of the setting options.
6. From the pop-up box that will appear, tap on Deactivate Account.
7. Then tap on Send Deactivation link on my Email.
8. After the above steps, you will receive an email that contains an account deactivation link from Carousell on the email you provided.
9. Click on the link, then click again Deactivate my Account from the link.
10. Provide the reasons why you want to delete your account and Continue to delete my account.
11. Now you can uninstall the Carousell app from your phone.
